About the Filmmakers

Joe Fox: Director, Writer and Producer
James Nubile: Director, Director of Photography, Editor and Producer

Joe Fox and James Nubile are award-winning veteran journalists who have spent the last decade producing documentary shorts for this country's leading non-profit organizations -- covering such topics as restitution for Holocaust victims, abortion providers prior to Roe v. Wade, children with learning disabilities, victims of the Asian tsunami and AIDS in Southern Africa.

Fox's background is print journalism, his series "Voices Of Peace" (a four part series for USA Today on the peace process in Northern Ireland, South Africa and Israel) was chosen as that paper's submission for the Pulitzer Prize.

James Nubile's background is documentary photography, his work has been featured in numerous national and international publications, including: The New York Times Magazine, Los Angeles Times Magazine, Newsweek, Time, and US News and World Report.

They founded their New York City based production company, Fly On The Wall Productions, in 1997.

Andrew Rathbun: Composer

Andrew Rathbun is a Toronto-born, New York-based saxophonist and composer.

Andrew has documented his individual sound on a series of acclaimed recordings, mainly for the Fresh Sound New Talent and SteepleChase labels. As a sideman, Andrew has appeared on over 35 other recordings. He has also written a variety of chamber and orchestral pieces, as well as pieces for the Danish Radio Jazz Orchestra, the Dave Liebman Big Band, the Fresh Sound New Talent Jazz Orchestra, the Metropole Orchestra, and the Brussels Jazz Orchestra. He composes regularly for film and television.

Kerman Chowna: Editor

Kerman Chowna is a recent graduate of the New York University Graduate School of Journalism where she wrote, produced and edited a number of documentary shorts, most notably a video on the polarizing power of cricket in India.

She is also a graduate of Mumbai University and St. Xavier's College, Mumbai, her hometown, where she has worked extensively in Journalism and advertising.
